Frequently Asked Questions

Where do you service?

We provide face-to-face services for children and families across the Moyne, Warrnambool and Corangamite regions.

Our sleep consultancy services are delivered via telehealth and are available to families Australia-wide.

Selected therapy and consultation services may also be available via telehealth, depending on your child’s needs and the type of support required. Please get in touch to discuss the most suitable option for your family.

Are you an NDIS-registered provider?

Growing Minds Therapy is not currently registered with the NDIS. However, we can provide services to families who are self-managed or plan-managed, as well as families accessing services through private payment.

Unfortunately, we are unable to accept NDIA-managed funding at this time. Please contact us if you are unsure whether your funding arrangement can be used for our services.

Do I need a referral?

No. You do not need a referral to access our services. Families are welcome to contact us directly to discuss their child's needs and determine the most appropriate support.

For Autism (ASD) and ADHD assessments, a referral from your child's Paediatrician or Psychiatrist is preferred, as these health professionals are responsible for making a formal diagnosis. Our assessment findings and recommendations can then contribute to a collaborative diagnostic process and support their clinical decision-making.

Do I need to know exactly what my child needs before contacting you?

Not at all. Many families contact us because they know something doesn't seem quite right but aren't sure why. You don't need to have all the answers before reaching out. We'll take the time to listen to your concerns, discuss your child's strengths and challenges, and help determine the most appropriate service or next steps for your family.

Do you have a clinic that you work from?

Not at the moment—but we're excited to share that we're currently building our very own clinic space. We can't wait to welcome families into this beautiful new environment in the future!

In the meantime, we provide face-to-face services in the comfort of your home and educational settings, as well as telehealth appointments where appropriate. This flexible approach allows us to support children in the environments where they feel most comfortable and where meaningful learning often takes place.

What ages do you work with?

We primarily provide services for children from birth to 12 years of age. However, every child and family is unique, and we understand that support needs don't always fit neatly within an age range. If your child is outside this age bracket, we encourage you to get in touch to discuss your individual circumstances and how we may be able to help.
